[ That's actually a little surprisingly, but taking it in stride. ]

Well, can't be helped. I can teach you Old Maid if you want?

[Well, he is handling the cards like he's not sure what to do with them. Like at all. Speaking of which, he'll just hand them back now because apparently you are going to show him what to do.]

[ Thanks, kid. He'll be taking them back and picking out a joker card. ]

First off, the most important thing is that if you have this card at the end of the game, you lose.

Once that's done, Hiro shuffles the deck and then starts splitting the cards between them. ]

And...there. That one's yours.

Nai nods again and proceeds to spread his cards out on his lap so he can see them. And so Hiro can see them. Oops.]
